I am going to give TG 5 stars despite the "catch" because they deserve it. They are affordable, delicious, and friendly. We take out from them every 1 or 2 weeks. The only "catch" I have is that we have had at least 4 or so occurrences in which an order was either taken down incorrectly, or was delivered incorrectly. They are ALWAYS courteous and quick to correct the mistake though, so I'll leave the 5 stars anyway! Thanks Tacos Gingi!

I was extremely excited to try this spot, came in on a whim on my way home from work. The management is superb; friendly and welcoming. A family owned business with proud Mexican-Jewish roots. Ordered tacos and chips & guac and was sticker shocked; prices are steep! Thought no biggie considering the quality of the meat and ingredients. Got home and was completely unimpressed. The food lacked flavor, meat was cooked dry. Unfortunately this place was not worth a second visit.

Mexican Kosher restaurant.....umm I'm intrigued and count me in. Located a few blocks east of the highway on Dempster (next to a gas station), it's about time some kosher tacos came to the north shore. The food and salsas were really good. I ordered the chicken burrito and was pleasantly surprised. Since it's kosher, the price was a bit high (~$10 for the burrito) so the value is a bit tough. Overall great food, I will return.

Best kosher restaurant in Skokie -- and their catering is top notch! We've tried nearly everything on the menu and have many favorites.
The food is fantastic, the chef-owners are very friendly and accommodating, and the service is quick and responsive.
(Anyone complaining about the price doesn't understand the cost of kosher food. What's more notable is that the food was so good that those people didn't miss the dairy!)
